To clean areas of the body, alcohol prep wipes or alcohol pads are used. Alcohol Pads come in a variety of sizes and types, including alcohol swabs, alcohol wipes, and isopropyl swabs. They are single-use only. Alcohol Wipes and Swabs are available in both sterile and non-sterile versions. They're made for cleaning and scrubbing. They're both widely used as an antiseptic skin cleanser when using insulin syringes, pen needles, or lancets. Alcohol Wipes and Swabs are also used to avoid infections, clean the skin, and clean wounds, scrapes, and cuts.
 

Alcohol Pads Use:

They are used to disinfect an injection site prior to injection in order to eliminate bacteria and germs that could be pushed into the skin during the injection. It can also be used to clean one's hands before injecting if there isn't somewhere to do so.
